Last week, papal biographer
George Weigel wrote a column about the “Franciszkanska 3” chapel in the Archbishop
of Kracow’s residence.
This chapel is deeply connected to Blessed John Paul
II’s life and ministry. It was where he was ordained, it was where he began his
days while he was archbishop of Cracow, and it was the first place he ran to
after hearing of the death of his predecessor John Paul I.
